Laser treatment began on September 14, 2015. The 10th and final treatment was on October 23, 2015.
- Please describe the symptom of your Morton’s neuroma prior to laser treatment:
Pain was sharp, tingling and felt like my sock was bunched up under my toes. Pain was intermittent but became constant in the last 3 or so months prior to treatment. Pain was in the upper quartile. The bunched-up sock sensation was constant.
- Did your Morton’s neuroma interfere with activities of daily living or quality of life?
Absolutely. When pain was present, walking was difficult.
- How long have you had these symptoms?
Probably 20 years prior to laser treatment
- What treatments have you had for your Morton’s neuroma prior to laser treatment?
I had several steroid injections. Tried orthotic devices and homemade shoe modifications with very limited success.
- Describe improvement following laser treatment.
At the conclusion of treatment, I would say relief was about 70% but it continued to improve as time went on.
- What percentage of improvement now have you achieved following laser treatment?
I would rate my improvement at 90%
- How frequent is the pain, if any following laser treatment?
I get occasional pain, but it is less than before and occurs rarely

It’s been over 3 years so I’m pretty stable
